She has given me a list. So far we have:

I'm pretty sure most of these are TV crushes.

Please help.

Sorry for auto correct, she has only bought one robot vacuum cleaner and isn't short circuiting and repeating herself Grin

I love Churchill for some reason!

Mine is called Colin the cleaner. Wouldn't be without him! He's ace 😬

DungeonKeeper · 08/05/2021 15:00

I’m not going to tell ours but I like names for robot hoovers along the lines of Steve, Dave, Bernard, Maurice, Trevor.

Marvin
Hal

Cornettoninja · 08/05/2021 15:06

Wadsworth (Tim Curry’s butler character in Clue)

InNobodysEyesButMine · 08/05/2021 15:07

Whatever name she thinks sounds good in the sentence, "Alexa, tell Churchill to clean the house." I believe one Mumsnetter named hers the Gimp for this very purpose. (Ours is named after a particularly irritating CBeebies character, we take great pleasure in instructing it to go pick up dust.)

Emmelina · 08/05/2021 15:09

I think you should call it Boris. Then when it runs into a problem it’ll notify her that something horrible has happened ie “Boris has fallen down the stairs”, “Boris has had a run in with the cat” “Boris is choking on a hair bobble” Grin

Are Robot vacuums worth the money, then? I drop so much hair that I worry that it might choke and die.

After much consideration, anticipation and excitement, I recently purchased a Eufy. I hate hoovering and thought I'd love it. I didn't. It was less hassle just to whip out the normal hoover for a few minutes. I can't fault the Eufy's performance, but it just wasn't for me. Also, I shed so much hair, and removing it from the brushes after each use was just a faff.
Jumpers268 · 08/05/2021 16:59

I called mine Roger. Wanted a very manly name. Trevor would've been good too. Also, I love my Eufy. 2 dogs and a 6 year old and he's fab! 👍

TuckMyWin · 08/05/2021 17:01

Ours is Alfred. Rather belatedly we thought we should have called him Wall-E.

Same here. There's a lot of love for Eufy (tried to autocorrect to Rudy!)
RickJames · 08/05/2021 17:17

I'd love one of these but my little dog sometimes poos indoors when she's anxious and I can't bear the thought of it mowing through poo, tracking it everywhere and then choking to death on poo Sad

I'm sorry, but I am not sure you met your own brief... WinkGrin

Peachylovesherpoochy · 08/05/2021 17:23

Ours is called Electro - it suits him!
