AIBU?
Send a glitter bomb
IWantToDoIt2 · 07/05/2021 18:25
Reading the recent thread about glitter bombs which I never knew existed. I really really want to send one to my ex boss. He was a complete dick, treat me really badly to the point I actually lost a lot of self confidence after working for him and needed to go on antidepressants. It’s been 3 years now and I’m so much more confident, but I still get pissed off thinking about the dick. Now I know about glitter bombs I’d love to send one as he is a complete clean and neat freak in the office.
YANBU - Yes do it
YABU - leave it, 3 years have gone by.
Am I being unreasonable?

I do occasionally think how satisfying it would be to post a box of dog shit to my awful, awful, awful ex-housemate. She made life so miserable. I haven’t lived with her for...8 years?
When someone really gets in your head it’s really hard to get them out. But ultimately, glitter bomb of dog shit won’t help. And will probably just add sorry that they’ll find out it was you and then in some small way they’ll be back in your life which is the opposite of good.

No don't do it
You left the job
He shouldn't affect you anymore and you are wasting head space thinking about someone that was dick to you
If he's a sick to his staff he will experience that and high staff turn over. That's enough. Roll your windows down when you next drive and let that man out of your head!

The patriarchy tells women to be polite and reasonable and accommodating even when others treat them badly. I think women should be encouraged to embrace their anger a bit more.
I would say it is your feminist duty to send the glitter bomb.
I'd consider it money well spent as it would put a smile on my face every time I thought about it.
