Joie stages car seat

Posting for traffic as I have a work meeting soon and the bastard car seat isn't working so I can't get DS to childcare.

Does anyone know how to untwist the harness if it has got twisted within the seat? It's completely stuck at the moment. Can't loosen or tighten it at all!

I don't have this car seat but found a really good YouTube video for untwisting the straps on the 360. I'd try there as it's easier to see someone do it than explain here in text. Good luck!

I’ve just bought a new car seat for this very issue.

My Joie stages straps were constantly twisting and it’s near impossible to sort them out so I completely understand your frustration. I didn’t find the YouTube video helpful at all.

I haven’t been happy with the strap mechanism for a long time, it felt like they were constantly twisting and they never felt tight against my son and I lost all confidence in how safe my son was. The constant strap issues made me hate the bloody thing.

Anyway - my new car seat arrived yesterday and the absolutely best thing is that the strap mechanisms are on the outside of the car seat’s body (unlike Joie where the mechanisms are inside the car seat) and so I have complete access to the straps and any twisting will be able to be sorted out immediately!!
