We are about to start some building work on our house (an extension). It is expected to last 4 months. Our builders will, due to delays, now be starting work two weeks before we are due to be away for a short break (4 nights). I am a bit worried that we should really be staying on site to supervise the project (although it is being done by a big firm with an appointed project manager). AIBU ridiculous to think I need to be here at this point in the build and should cancel my trip?
