Please recommend me some easy reading authors

Please recommend me some authors of easy reading books. I can only catch 15 minutes of reading time here and there, often in the middle of the night when I’m half asleep, so looking for something that can be picked up and put down a lot and doesn’t require too much concentration!

Thank you

I like Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series for light reading.

Lucinda Riley
Santa Montefiore

Another vote for the Sophie K shopaholic books, they are so funny.

Also love Paige Toon. Start with Lucy in the Sky or Chasing Daisy as those two are fab.

Marian Keyes is a good read; basically all her books
Janet Evanovich - The Stephanie Plum series is entertaining and easy read.

I agree with Marian Keyes. Lovely books. I also love Maeve Binchy.

M.C. Beaton -- the Agatha Raisin or Hamish Macbeth books. Very easy, follow a formula so you'll never be on the edge of your seat but definitely an easy read.

Katie fforde for girly romcoms

Stella rimmington for pacey spy dramas (she used to be head of m15)

Similarly the No1 Ladies Detective Series, Alexander McCall. I read them all when I was in a similar mindset.
