To panic about new pregnancy - realistic options?

Hello everyone. Title says it all really - I’m unexpectedly pregnant. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I’m in my first year of studying for a nursing degree. Whilst I would love to have another baby, I’m just not seeing that it’s doable. If I had this baby it would be due in the last week of December and I would be due to start my work placement mid January, I might only have a couple of weeks between birth and having to do 3 12 hour shifts weekly and of course studying. And putting my degree aside, it will also be bloody hard with 3 under 5 obviously. I’m so torn because I love being pregnant and having babies but I just don’t think it would be fair for the baby to only bond with me for a few weeks and then have to go to childcare.

Could you not ask the uni to suspend your degree for 6m/1 year for maternity leave? That's what I did.

Even though you love pregnancy and having babies doesn't mean you have to have this baby. Of course you dont have to terminate but you should consider it as one option. People do terminate because of timing, that's a perfectly valid reason.
