Urgent Advice; who to contact about this dog?

Dog belonging to neighbours out the back. He's very skinny and absolutely filthy. They've just let him out to wander around near the roads.

Dog warden.

I'm worried about the dog. He doesn't look well looked after.

Obviously it's the RSPCA or the dog warden OP! If you can try and take photos/keep a diary though as they're unlikely to be able to come out straight away

Can you catch the dog and take it to the local dog shelter? They'll check for a microchip. If they haven't bothered to chip / update the chip then it would be much harder to return the dog (what a shame).

Even if the dog is returned they'll have some awkward questions about the state of it.
