Maybe I’ve been living under a rock but I am surprised that there hasn’t been more coverage of the Dalian Atkinson case. His death happened almost 5 years ago but is only just coming to trial now. What I’ve read has been shocking - is anyone else aware of this case?

It's a heartbreaking case. I'm surprised that it's taken so long to come to trial and yes, that it hasn't been more widely publicised.

I'd heard of it but tbh it's one of many similar cases which are played down by the Police and the media. It doesn't fit with the reteric that institutional racism is under control.

I didn't know about this either, bloody hell.
And why has it taken so long to get to court?
