They have some lovely clothes. But I'm aghast at the prices for what is a polyester dress.

erm - so don't buy one?

What is it you think you are being unreasonable about?

daretodenim · 03/05/2021 16:08

Well if it was silk lace it'd be unaffordable to even more people. If it was cotton lace it wouldn't look so dressy.

Many wedding dresses are made of polyester lace and they're far more expensive, even tea dresses.

The lace at least has a pattern to it and it's not a simple sheath dress - there are pattern pieces to it.

I don't know the brand so can't comment on the finishing quality, but if it's crap quality finishing then yes too much. If decent, then why not charge that? Anyway, if the market doesn't support that price, they'll be 50% off in a few months!

Doesn't say what the price is

That looks like something out of a childs dressing up box!

This brand has become something of a go-to for a certain style of weddings in the last few years, regattas, etc - to the extent I wouldn't buy one again as the risk of someone else being in the same dress is high.

The design quality is extremely high and the dresses look and feel incredible on.

There are many more expensive dress labels out there - are you going to start an AIBU on every brand in the world the you don't personally like or can afford?

No just this one 😆
