Should I expect longer from a full charge?

Guidance on the manufacturers website says to expect 2hrs 30mins use with a full charge, depending on settings. I'm not naive, I'm sure this is the optimum they got in testing using the lowest intensity setting, whereas I'm using a middle range setting (4 of a possible 7 intensity settings). I'm consistently getting 1hr 35mins, 1hr 40mins at most. The manufacturer says this is within their expected parameters, but I expected more. Am I being unreasonable to expect it to last longer than this?

What is the device?

Voomster953 · 01/05/2021 21:49

Full charge of what? Phone? Car? Dildo?

Flymeaway4 · 01/05/2021 21:53

Sorry, breast pump. Elvie pump, to be exact

The elvie is awful. I got 90minutes use to 1 hour charging. I got more out of a haaka as well.

I'm not disappointed with any other aspects of the Elvie. I guess all pumps work differently for different people, but I get considerably more from the Elvie than I did from a haakaa style pump. It is infinitely more convenient too, as I can get on with other stuff around the house at the same time (cook dinner, hang the washing, rush upstairs if baby wakes from a nap without having to detach from it etc). It just seems the battery life is less than I expected and I only get a few uses before charging again. Worried that this will only reduce over time too. Just wondered if maybe I expected too much, given their 2.5hr claim on their website.
