I was talking to a friend on WhatsApp earlier about stuff she’d bought from Primark earlier in the week. In response I wanted to say ‘ I went in there the other day’, but for reasons I can’t explain it autocorrected to ‘I went in there the other shag’. I’ve know idea why because ‘shag’ isn’t a word I type often if it at all and it doesn’t even make sense anyway. I apologised immediately and she thought it was funny, but what if that had been a formal conversation with my work or something?
Please tell me this has happened to other people?
