AIBU?
Is this acceptable? (Light hearted)

DP made dinner last night for him and the kids as I was at work. He packed me a portion to bring to work with me. I've just heated it up and started eating it.
He has made cottage pie. I was really looking forward to tucking into a portion, only to discover he has not added any carrots or peas. I mean, why? Why would you just serve beef and potato? Luckily I brought some broccoli as a side but still!
I'm not sure how to handle this...
YABU - be grateful you had a nice meal cooked
YANBU - absolutely right, cottage pie without veg is the devils food.

Carrots yes, and celery. Petit pois should be served on the side IMO.

Don't even get me started on petite pois versus those big old fat peas. DP much prefers the big fat ones despite the fact petite pois are sweet delicate lovely things!

@SonnyWinds
I had to laugh at this as
He just asked me what I thought of the cottage pie and we were laughing about the absence of carrots. He tells me it was a proper recipe by James Martin and it didn't include veg! He took it well though and we both agree carrots are needed. We will never agree on peas though!
