A treatment that I need to have monthly sessions of, I went for the first time a week ago and the lady doing it was very nice but just very over the top.
It was just endless compliments and fussing and I feel awful saying that, it's better than somebody being rude or hostile, but it really was too much.
Every other sentence was:
"Ooh aren't you sweet"
"Ooh aren't you pretty"
"Ooh don't you have lovely nails"
"Ooh don't you look young for your age"
"Ooh aren't you polite"
"Ooh you're shy aren't you"
"Ooh haven't you got lovely hair"
"Ooh you're so lovely"
And it was just me consistently blushing, laughing nervously and saying thank you.
It was just constant and even though she said nice things I felt like i couldn't relax and enjoy my treatment. Aibu to cancel (with notice) and find another place who does it ?
Just hate having all the attention on me and also hate when people point out I'm shy and so on even if it's not meant badly I'm sure.
