AIBU?
Fiction vs reality

Fancy a game? You have to write a plot from a film/series like it was a post on here as an AIBU. In the replies, write who you’re replying to, your guess m, verdict and then your own plot!
I’ll go first (obviously)
Who is in the wrong?
When I met my DH I was a Virgin who hadn’t had a sex education - I didn’t know how babies were made. For the first few months of our life we had an amazing sex life but he would always pull out and I wasn’t getting pregnant like I wanted to. I spoke to a friend and found out what he was doing but instead of confronting him I got on top one day and managed to keep him there so he couldn’t pull out in the hopes I would get pregnant. It turns out he was doing it because he had promised his father he wouldn’t have children.
Who IBU, him For keeping this big secret from me or me for slyly trying to get him to break it?

Bridgerton!
And Y are BOTH BU. You both need to ltb.
W IBU to not go home?
I was on holiday with my DH who I love, however I got really lost one night wandering around some ancient stones and ended up somewhere new with a group of people who rather reluctantly looked after me when I couldn’t get back home. One of them was a very good looking and lovely man who I have fallen for. At first I missed my DH but as time has gone on I am falling more for the new guy even though most of his friends don’t like me and think I’m trouble, especially as we are from different countries that have a rivalry.
Would IBU to not keep looking for the stones that could return me home to DH and stay with this new man instead?

I am 24 years old. My only relatives are my twin brother, who lives the other side of the world, and my 12yo sister, who needs to live with me. I've decided the best way to provide for her is to move to Austria and open a school. My old French teacher is happy to come with me with her niece, and one of my neighbours would send his daughter with me because her Stepmother doesn't like her.
AIBU to think this is a good plan?

I met this hot guy (DP) and the sex is amazing but we're both stuck in dead end jobs, I waitress and he looks after wooden houses in the middle of nowhere for his vile, fat slob of a boss. DP lives on site in one of these houses (relevant later).
The slob found I had been sleeping over and said I could stay if I helped paint a house with DP which it took us a week in the heat and dust, up ladders etc, no pay, no HR to complain to either.
I was exhausted and at end of my tether when slob says he wants all the others painting! I lost it and started throwing things, DP tried to calm me down and placate slob, but not before I flashed the fucker my fanjo. Slob has now threatened to evict him. Before anyone piles on, I have been accused of being unhinged in the past but I am on meds for my condition.
This morning DP went to work and still incandescent with rage, I threw all his stuff out of the window. Then I came upon some handwritten books. I've discovered he's the best undiscovered novelist of the century and he's here kowtowing to that slug for a pittance!
I have packed up our cases along with his books and am waiting for him to get back from work, I'm gonna torch his house and then hitch to my friends who will put us up. AIBU?

@HamFlaps Outlander
YADNBU to stay with the (ahem..gorgeous) new man even though I imagine he does make some dim witted decisions at times and quite often doesn't have any of the sense he was born with.
DH has brought home a new pet for DS and abdicated all responsibility for looking after it. He just walked in with it after failing to sort a Christmas present for DS despite me reminding him. I wouldn't mind but there are all these bloody care instructions which go with it like not getting wet or feeding it after midnight - how do you even do that? How long after Midnight is not after midnight?
Anyway, husband has disappeared and I'm left looking after the thing. A load of stuff has started to go wrong in the house, it's Christmas and just too much stress. AIBU to take it to animal rescue where they'll at least know what it is?

Betty Blue!
(My Aunt let me watch this at 12 because "the only nudity she remembered was the brief flashing". How she forgot about the sex and full frontal nudity that constitutes about a third of the film, I don't know. It was educational, I suppose.)

@Flumpaphone Gremlins ☺️
I run a small farm & live with my partner & 6 kids, i also have a few little deals going on on the side, but i resent paying tax 😡
Thing is a tax inspector has shown up on my farm banging on about filling in a tax form, i invited him to stay for dinner & drinks and him and my adult daughter have really hit it off!!
Wibu to encourage this possible relationship in the hope they may fall for each other and he will forget about the bloody form!?

Family issues/inheritance problems. So my uncle/cousin (long back story) has had a bit of a late mid life crisis and decided to up and leave the village we live in. He adopted me as a child when my parents died in a boating incident.
Anyway, he's always been an eccentric sort but last week just before his birthday an old friend of the family showed up. He's great but everyone in the village knows he's a bit of a trouble maker, and there's definitely some wacky baccy in that pipe of his! He had some shady talks with my uncle, then proceeded to throw him a massive birthday party. Halfway through the party my uncle ups and leaves - almost into thin air!
Turns off he's buggered off to some idyllic retirement community type place and left me everything he owns, including a gold ring. His friend won't bloody leave me alone - pestering me with all kinds of occultist sounding hocus pocus, telling me I need to get rid of it, I'm being watched...he seriously sounds like a top class conspiracy theorist nut job.
AIBU to really not need this right now? Even my gardener is getting creeped out by him!

Stay NC with my family or not?
I was born into a privileged & loving family. My parents taught me that there were rights and responsibilities... but I kept breaking the rules. My biggest screw-up put my family in danger ... and led to my dad's premature death. :( I ran away because I couldn't face up to what happened. I know that's immature but in my defence I was only a kid. Now it's years later & I've made great friends who just accept me how I am. I have a simple life. We live for the moment, no worries.
Problem is that I bumped into one of my old neighbours and she is saying I should go back to the community we grew up in. She says everything's a mess for everyone else since my uncle took over the family business. I don't care. Why is it my responsibility to fix things? I have an easy life now and they will probably all hate me anyway. AIBU?
