Starting a business online

Hi,

I'm starting a business online, offering a legal and non sexual service. I have a company name, logo, website, huge email list of potential clients etc.

I don't expect it to make much money (I have a paying job too) but what else do I need to think about at this early stage?

AIBU to think I can just start or are there more things to consider first...?

Registering for self employment and proper record keeping.

Social media presence

Think about the nature of your online presence.
*company name, logo, website, huge email list of potential clients etc.
*
All that is meaningless if no one visits your website.
How are you driving traffic?

Where did the email list come from if you’re just starting?

The fines are big for getting that wrong.

Insurance is a good suggestion.
