Universal credit and the bank holiday

I just wanted to alert those on UC who might be getting paid early because of the bank holiday. Martin Lewis advised that if you're getting paid early and the second payment falls within 30 days of your previous one you should contact DWP so as not to lose out.
I will try to post the link but just thought I would put this out there.

It's been like that from the start though hasnt it? I'd have thought it would have been sorted by now.

If you are being paid early and it means two pay days will fall in your assessment period, then that is cause for concern but this won't affect everyone who is paid within 30 days, it's all about your assessment period dates surely ?

Yes sorry it does depend on the dates of your assessment period and everybody's dates must be different so it's possible that someone will miss out because of the early pay at bank holidays.

I still can't believe they haven't sorted this out. I'm glad I'm still on tax credits.
