Young children in lockdown

I have been watching the 6 pm news and, in particular , a piece on how young children have missed out on peer talk during lockdown. I can see that this will have had a detrimental effect. However, I could not help but notice that most of the adults speaking did so using the horrid Antipodean lilt at the end of a sentence, thus making it sound like a question. AIBU in thinking that this, in itself, is not good for children to hear and repeat?

  1. Please link to your peer reviewed papers on the detrimental impact to Antipodean children
  1. Please explain what harm it’s doing to U.K. children
  1. Please give your view on whether the harm in (2) is more all less harmful to exposing them to xenophobic crap
  1. DFOD.
