If a residential parent decides to move away, who is then responsible for the contact travel? Would they have to meet half way for pick up’s and drop off’s? Or would the 1 moving away be responsible for the whole?

Normally it would be the person who moved away who travels.

But the biggest responsibility is the the DC and both parents should be making it as easy as possible for the to have a good relationship with each side of the family
