I am looking to put my notice in on the property I rent. I pay rent every 20th of the month. My question is, if I gave my notice on say the 1st of the month, would I then only have to pay 4 weeks rent from then or would I still have to pay up until the 20th? ie does my notice have to be from 20th to 20th?

It’ll depend on your contract. Some stipulate rent day, others just a period of time.
