Hey I write a blog and also have followings on social media platforms. It sort of depends on what sort of blog and who your audience is.
I do a blog about my career, my social media and YouTube channels are also based on this many tutorials.
I receive money for advertisements etc which brings in around 32k a year.

Basically, these days you don’t. You build a social media following, especially on Instagram and Youtube, then you get sponsorships and/or ad money. And then you set up paid content e.g. on Patreon. It’s hard work and you need a lot more than blog posts.

This, pretty much. The age of just starting a blog and it being successful are over - you need a social media following first, then a commited portion of them might read your blog (but I'd imagine you'd still get better ad revenue on the social channels).
