Married for 17 years, 2 children, feeling a whole range of emotions.
feeling very taken for granted, unloved ( don't think he does love me) and actually not even sure I love him anymore anyway, craving being made to feel special (pathetic I know), is this it?

Is this a new feeling or has it been an ongoing issue?

Sfuandtired · 25/04/2021 21:50

ongoing for about a year

What are you hoping for from posting? It's difficult to know how to respond to you based on so little info.

Sfuandtired · 25/04/2021 21:53

I don't really know tbh, venting mainly, and interested if there are others feeling the same way.

Follow your instincts

Hankunamatata · 25/04/2021 21:58

Have you told him any of this?

Justmuddlingalong · 25/04/2021 22:00

Is your craving to feel special causing you to look elsewhere, or to consider ending your marriage?

Been feeling like this for years. nearly 20 yrs married, two teenagers. Dont feel "married" anymore, we are like flatmates. Hes a good man, works hard but neglects me emotionally entirely but is clueless about it and hasn't a mean bone in his body. Its just who he is. Im lonely but I dont think ill ever find anything better anywhere else so i stay, we are basically happy otherwise, life is smooth and the kids are happy so I kind of tell myself that i can't compromise the happiness of the rest of the family by splitting everyone up just because im wishing for something else. He seems happy with how things are too..I suspect hes aspergers so its a happy medium for him. what does one do? dunno..try and find the best in the way things are.
