To want to take this further?

I have an older thread running about the intimidation and harassment I have had from my neighbour and his family.

I have now sold my family home and left and we are all devastated about what it came to in the end.

The Landlord was useless and had the cheek to suggest we both put everything behind us and move on and try again with his Tenant. When I heard that I knew it was over and there was no other way out but to go.

But I just feel so angry now! I feel I want to take the situation further with LL but don’t know what/how.

Is it best to just move on?

It’s done now, if I was you I would move on and try and let go of the anger, it won’t help you.

I agree. Try to put it behind you and enjoy your new home.

It’s over. I would be delighted to be out of it and looking forward to the next chapter. There is no point doing anything else.

You are likely suffering a form Traumatic Stress OP. You will feel violated intruded upon and very angry at having to sell your home to escape.

It will take time to heal 🌸

If you do ‘take it further’ you might find that you have issues with your buyer.

If they have similar issues with the neighbours, you could find yourself with a legal headache from them

Did you declare this issue on the Property Information Form (TA6)?

If you've moved, I understand being upset at having to leave a family home, but I don;t understand what you want to achieve from following it up?
Focus on building friends and joining the community wherever your new home is.

What do you want to happen?

Dotty07 · 26/04/2021 09:05

I’m not even sure. I think I was just so upset that LL, Police or Council could help and now we are renting as can’t get somewhere to buy due to the market. I’m sure the feeling will pass.
