Pamper Pack / Goodie bag. Would this be a weird thing to do and if not what can I put in it

One of my friends lost her husband to a short illness last year and their anniversary is coming up. I know they always used to make a big thing of it and I think it is going to be a difficult day for her as it was so personal to them so not many people necessarily know about it. Also she is very strict re covid rules so I think, aside from maybe a walk with her niece, she may be alone for most of the day. She is mid 50's with no children.

So I was thinking of getting her a nice bag of things for that day. Nothing expensive, I don't want to embarrass her. But maybe some nice bubble bath / bath bomb, a magazine or two, some ready made naice gin pre mixes (she loves gin) and I don't know what else. We often buy each other little gifts so its not totally in the weird realm.

So .... is it too much? And if not what could I put in it aside from some of the things I have already considered?

I think that is a lovely idea. A scarf? I have made/sent scarves and shawls to friends in place of a hug. A nice mug/hot chocolate. I know the weather is getting better but it is comforting.
