The dinosaur who poo'd

I loved mog books as a child. Whereas my child likes to hear the same story of a dinosaur who poo's. We have the pirate one and a Christmas one. Each involve copious amounts of defecation and gas. He finds it hilarious. If there's no poo involved he doesn't want to know

My 6 year old chose the Christmas one for his story tonight!

APurpleSquirrel · 20/04/2021 20:54

@GlitterBiscuits lol I was just coming on to say about that one Grin
We have that & two of the Dinosaur ones - they're just a bit of fun tbh. I'd rather that than bloody Bing or Peppa Pig Angry

BareBelliedSneetch · 20/04/2021 20:54

We love the Little Mole in this house!

inmyslippers · 20/04/2021 20:57

Yes can't think what he's called. Used to be in McFly

Me and dd could barely hold it together when we first read the dinosaur that pooped a princess 😂, I think I laughed just as much as her. Each to their own I guess.

Nancylovesthecock · 20/04/2021 21:05

Best. Books. Ever 😁😂

AzkabanPrison · 20/04/2021 21:06

Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter - my DS loves them and the I Need A New Bum book!

BrumBoo · 20/04/2021 21:07

I refuse to buy these books, and I'm usually not bothered about a bit of toilet humour. Tom Fletcher (as his wife) annoy the crap pun intended out of me anyway, like I'd pay him to do so further.

EvilOnion · 20/04/2021 21:12

We don't do book snobbery here, I'll read anything and encourage my kids to do the same!

We love the Dinosaur Pooped series 😁

Jazzy1814 · 20/04/2021 21:13

Reading these comments has convinced me to buy the I need a new bum book.

ViolaValentina · 20/04/2021 21:24

DS got the dinosaur one for Christmas, I couldn't read more than a couple of pages, it was so revolting. I managed to hide it immediately and donate it to charity before he really registered he'd been given it.

Molehillfromamountain · 20/04/2021 21:50

My DS loves these and I Need A New Bum. Hmm Thankfully he also loves the Mog books and anything by Jane Hissey and Jill Murphy.

VienneseWhirligig · 20/04/2021 21:55

DS liked Captain Underpants books and The Day My Bum Went Psycho (and the sequel, Zombie Bums From Uranus). His reading log for school was heavily bum-led unfortunately.

Is that your poop face? 😂
inmyslippers · 20/04/2021 21:58

Seem like marmite people love them or hate them.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 20/04/2021 21:58

I didn't know there was a princess oneShock

EvilOnion · 20/04/2021 22:00

@Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum, it was a big cheesy grin but if I've OD'd on fibre it might well be 🤣💩

Keepmekeeping · 20/04/2021 22:11

I love the Princess one glittery poo and princess poo power whats not to love.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 20/04/2021 22:17

My Ds loves these! We’ve got all but one I think. Grin

The only really good one is the pooped a planet one though. It’s got one of my favourite rhymes in it:

They headed for Earth and they started to orbit.
It pooped on the clouds but the clouds just absorbed it.

SaborDeSoledad · 20/04/2021 22:23

@GlitterBiscuits

Try 'The Little Mole Who Knew It Was None Of His Business' There's even a pop up version!
Now that one IS funny... And informative!
Mamamamasaurus · 20/04/2021 22:28

My DD6 and DS4 are obsessed with anything related to bodily functions. I guess these books are going on their Christmas list!!

BlipBlopYourNipNop · 20/04/2021 22:28

We are a fan of Rudy's Windy Christmas and Allan needing a wee.

We also have the mole and dinosaur books, toilet humour is in high regard at our house. It has to be, our dog shits on the rug frequently and if you didn't laugh you would cry Envy( not envy) Grin

OwlinaTree · 20/04/2021 22:29

I bought this for my friend's child. When I was round at her house i started reading it to the child, I apologized for buying it a few pages in! Grin

DigOutThoseLemonHandWipes · 20/04/2021 22:40

It's actually a "plop up" edition. Thanks mother.

DigOutThoseLemonHandWipes · 20/04/2021 22:41

Ooops that should have quoted Glitter biscuits.
