Don't make decisions that only serve to make someone else happy.

LizzieMacQueen · 19/04/2021 22:23

I'm trying real hard to think of something NOT child related but I cannot.

Put in place a plan, time & money basically, that will allow you to have the family you want.

SchrodingersImmigrant · 19/04/2021 23:02

Don't panic over grey hair. I thought they come closer to 40🙄

romdowa · 19/04/2021 23:05

Be kind to yourself and put yourself first more. Also half the stuff you worry about doesn't matter in the long run , so worry less!

Mummy1608 · 19/04/2021 23:47

It's honestly not that different to turning 29.
Just carry on

LadyCatStark · 19/04/2021 23:51

Your 30s will be great, so much better than your 20s!

Mumblechum0 · 19/04/2021 23:53

You will never be this young again, enjoy every second

OnkasBigMoka · 19/04/2021 23:54

My advice would be, give less thought to 30 and more about what you want to have by 40. 40 is a great age but spend your 30's enjoying what from my experience are the true building blocks of your life.

Family, adventures, career any thing that makes you smile.

prawntoastie · 20/04/2021 00:39

You’re 30 not 100

avamiah · 20/04/2021 00:47

Start a pension or pay more into it if you have one already!

tigertreats · 20/04/2021 08:37

Have a ball.
I enjoyed my thirties way more than my twenties !

MartianMellows · 20/04/2021 08:39

Work up to putting your age as a percentage in your pension.

Enjoy your youth and beauty whilst you still have it!

Whatisthisfuckery · 20/04/2021 08:46

Don’t do things you really don’t want to do just because someone else wants you to do them. This doesn’t go for work though, I wouldn’t want to get you the sack.

If you get the chance, do the tings you want to do. Time flies and you’ll be middle-aged before you turn round, plus you never know what’s round the corner.

Accept that you will have changed over the last few years. I don’t think I really got to know who I was until I was 30, and part of that involved letting certain things go and coming to terms with the fact that I’d just out grown some things/people.

Pension, pension, pension.

And enjoy life more.
