To feel like yelling at my neighbours.... (just a little rant)

To stop playing an endless loop of Christmas songs at top volume with the windows open in April?

For goodness sake I do not want to think about chestnuts roasting on an open fire, what someone did with their heart last Christmas, jingle bells, driving home for Christmas or Rudolf had his blooming red nose..

Its April people... April... They've been playing flipping Christmas songs for over an hour.. there's a time and a place and its not April..

Rant over.

That is unbelievable and the stuff of nightmares!

BlackeyedSusan · 19/04/2021 15:51

Perhaps they are catching up with Christmas if plans did not go ahead in December.

Oh Christ! I’ve been trying to work out what would be worse than my neighbours with their full volume country songs... you’ve just given me an answer!

MrsMoastyToasty · 19/04/2021 15:57

Bagpipe music is your friend...

Crunched · 19/04/2021 15:57

My June DC gets a little jealous of her December sibling always having Christmas celebratory birthday parties, so we had a Christmas Day party for her in June, carols, tree, roast turkey and an ice palace bouncy castle.
Could it be a similar scenario?

Timper · 19/04/2021 15:59

I love your neighbours.

CrazyTitsLiz · 19/04/2021 16:04

Have you done anything to piss them off lately?

Flappityflippers1 · 19/04/2021 16:06

Your neighbours are my kind of people 😁

Flappityflippers1 · 19/04/2021 16:06

Also, if you’re in the north west, it may well be my mum... sorry! 😂

Whanganui · 19/04/2021 16:06

I’d second bagpipes, but they’ve could end up murdering you & I’d hate to to be partly responsible for this.

My neighbour was a bit of a cunt yesterday so I put classical on far louder than I should’ve, I’ve never known him to be so quiet.

listsandbudgets · 19/04/2021 16:10

I love my neighbours too NORMALLY. This is very out of character for them.

However, they're Muslim, its Ramadan and it will be hours and hours before they can have anything to eat and so I shall forgive them chestnuts, Rudolf and all... or indeed currently playing for my entertainment "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas" Grin

Do you have any children you could persuade to play a recorder underneath their windows? Only if you have earplugs you can use though Grin

TheOrigRights · 19/04/2021 16:34

We celebrated Christmas in a public park last week. Instead of posting all the kids' presents, we kept hold of them until we could meet.

It was fun. We did calm down my young nephew who was running around hollering singing Jingle Bells on repeat.
