Am I being unreasonable to be irritated by the fact that my OH talks about games ALL the time? He even talks to me about mobile games and usually if he's not playing a mobile game he's on the Xbox. I don't care about his games, they aren't interesting to me at all. I can stomach some conversation about them, I'm humour him with that as it is something he's interested in. But I just don't enjoy talking to him anymore because he manages to slip games into every conversation and I'm SO bored of it. No, I do not care if you pretend soldiers in your mobile game are really good, no I do not care if you keep losing. It's. A. Game.
He has plenty of friends that like games that would actually know, understand and care what he's talking about when it comes to games. He talks for ages too, it can be a 45 minute conversation where I say nothing because I have nothing to say and then he gets annoyed with me if I struggle to keep my attention on him talking about it for that long.
It's several times a day, every day.
