Is anyone else loving the lack of effort involved at the moment when meeting friends at the pub/restaurants?

One of my groups of friends are rather glam. A night out involves dressing up to the nines (showing my age with that statement!), whereas I'm more of a leggings and hoody kind of girl, so I sometimes find it a bit stressful meeting up with them wondering what to wear. Not that they would ever judge (well not to my face Grin).

I'm meeting them this evening and it's just struck me how chilled I am about it for a change. It's going to be very cold and nobody will see what I've got on under my massive coat - so I've got vest top, t-shirt, hoody. I'll wear jeans, big socks and boots. Fab, might even wear a hat so I don't even have to bother about the hair Grin.

It's quite liberating.

I think it’s good in the sense of throwaway fashion, hopefully there has been less of it. I also think personally it makes for a nicer event when it’s comfy and no pressure.

I don't see anything unreasonable in what you said.

This gets loads of traffic too though?

If it means less fast fashion, then this is a good thing.

I think there's more effort involved in going out anywhere at the moment, few pubs are open and those that are are turning people away because of reduced numbers. Its all quite rubbish. I certainly won't bother trying to eat out again for a while.
