Innies being neat and attractive

Ugzbugz · 17/04/2021 01:35

Again watching naked attraction where the very attractive Anna even describes innies as neat. I follow an amazing woman on tiktok who is trying to change this neat V messy! Most labia poke out a bit, why is it not neat???

....what

AssassinatedBeauty · 17/04/2021 01:58

I thought you'd be talking about belly buttons...

It is bizarre to watch a parade of naked, frequently hairless, genitalia and then comment upon them.

MrsTerryPratchett · 17/04/2021 02:02

In the nicest way possible... what the actual living fuck?

Are there Tiktoks about the state of men's bollocks? Actually there might be. I don't want to know.

JaneJeffer · 17/04/2021 02:07

How can labia be "innie"?

HeadBeeGuy · 17/04/2021 02:08

ok

Creepygnochi · 17/04/2021 02:13

Because they are neat, in the literal sense of the word.

ElizabethTudor · 17/04/2021 02:16

I agree. I think the word ‘neat’ for labia is just wrong. Neat? Seriously. I might describe a well manicured lawn as neat, but it’s a terrible word for fanny flaps.
(I did also think this was going to be about belly buttons)

sykadelic · 17/04/2021 02:21

Bloody hell. New level of body shaming!

sykadelic · 17/04/2021 02:23

That said, the penis is often described as long, short, thin, thick, cut, uncut, Shar Pei, hairy, tilts to one side, one-eyed monster, meat and 2 veg,... often judged on appearance so it stands to reason this would be a factor now too... still abhorrent though.

steff13 · 17/04/2021 02:36

@JaneJeffer

How can labia be "innie"?
Sometimes the inner labia extend beyond the outer labia, hence an "outie."
Creepygnochi · 17/04/2021 02:45

The innie looks like a barbie doll. It's all very compact and 'neat', nothing flops out.

It doesn't make a difference either way, so not really worth talking about. Fannys come in a variety of flavors. I'm sure somebody will be along to pop up the chart soon.

ExhaustedFlamingo · 17/04/2021 02:56

I don’t have any objections whatsoever to an innie being described as neater because it is. With everything tucked away, it is neater, like it or not. And I say this as someone who is the furthest possible thing from an innie that you can get.

The issue is with the perception that innies are the only accepted type of vulva and that anything else is ugly and unattractive. The whole “designer vagina” movement to “tidy up” generous flaps is abhorrent.

In the modern day, only a hairless innie is acceptable as sexy or even normal. It’s deeply wrong.

MostExcellentHoneychurch · 17/04/2021 03:03

This is one of those times when you realise people out there are campaigning to change a problem you never knew was a problem.

OwlinaTree · 17/04/2021 03:10

I thought this was going to be about belly buttons!

Ugzbugz · 17/04/2021 03:21

I have a small outie which until recently at 40 thought was huge and the joke is i can tuck in for the sake of a camera. So is it neat or not. Its different to big or small

I agree .

I had a labiaplasty in my late teens (for medical reasons - consultant said it was a congenital malformation and not within the realms of normal sadly, there was no choice in the matter at all) .

Not a pleasant operation at all - I was later diagnosed with ptsd as a direct result of the whole situation .

Have spent years and years hating my horrible body - felt like a freak - even post op - every time they say neat vagina I shudder .

Labia aren’t ugly or unattractive or neat and tidy . They’re just another body part in the same way a scrotum or hairy balls are . You’d never hear someone saying, ooh hasn’t he got a tidy wee ballsack?

I’d urge anyone in a similar position to not put themselves through that surgery and to look up some of the body positive things online . There’s a lot out there - Great Wall of vagina from memory .

JaneJeffer · 17/04/2021 03:27

There's no need for a camera to go anywhere near your nether regions.

1forAll74 · 17/04/2021 04:04

Not really worth discussing, ! but must admit, that I do sometimes watch Naked Attraction,as it's a laugh out loud programme.and so cringey.

Lonecatwithkitten · 17/04/2021 04:13

Never thought about it, every man I have ever had sex with has always been so delighted to be with a naked woman they haven't commented.

NiceGerbil · 17/04/2021 04:14

Huh?

Naked attraction is not as bad as I thought it would be.

But is still ???

You see when when women were allowed to have pubic hair this was not an issue.

The men get rid on that mostly as well. Yugh.

Pubes are there for a reason.

Labias and vulvas come in many different formats.

I have never met a man who. Cared really. What the arrangement was. And I've been friendly with an awful lot of men and have have never given that area any thought, au naturel.

If you meet someone they see your face before your cunt I assume?

And if when they get to the latter they are critical then Jesus. Tell them to get the fuck out.

Embracingthechaos · 17/04/2021 04:18

What do you expect from a show where people parade their genitals around for the purposes of judgement? Of course it's full of ridiculous shit like this. Just change the channel and watch something else.

No, you see them from the feet upwards before their face on this programme. That's the whole point. You literally eliminate people on the attractiveness of their legs and genitals.
Angrypregnantlady · 17/04/2021 05:12

The whole point of the show is to discuss the attractiveness of genitals. Some vulvas are more attractive than others. Some penises are more attractive than others. Chest hair/pubic hair/leg hair/beard hair all more or less attractive to different people. I don't judge a man for preferring no pubes any more than I would judge a woman for liking a clean shaven face (as in wouldn't judge at all)

There's no point pretending it's wrong to find these things attractive or unattractive.

Mypathtriedtokillme · 17/04/2021 05:14

It’s sadly a leftover from printed porn mags.

It had to be a smooth crease to be able to be sold otherwise it was too explicit therefore as porn prevailed it was the new “norm”.
It’s not, vulvas come in all shapes, sizes and colours.

Funnily enough that’s what the NHS said to me at the time Blush, that usually women and girls came enquiring about that operation because they’d encountered pornography and had an ideal version of a vulva in mind - I must have been the exception as at sixteen I’d never seen another one before (not even a diagram) !! ....

It is oddly something that does get mentioned a bit on TV, social media, maybe I tune into it more because it’s always been a ‘thing’ for me but you do hear eg beef curtains and similar .

That said comments also made about penises . Suppose it goes both ways but a man hasn’t got anything they can have chopped off really, so to speak .

I think the NHS have changed their approach a fair bit since I was sixteen thankfully; GP said they now hand out booklets from eg Brook explaining that larger labia are (usually) entirely normal . Did say even with all that it’s still a rare operation: and if NHS are doing it there’s usually a clinical reason .

It’s a shame Naked Attraction couldn’t focus on body positivity but suppose that’s not the point - you’re literally getting rid of people based on physical attributes .

There was a good programme on a couple of years ago on body issues where a couple of people went out to (I think) Greece and were encouraged to (eventually) swim nude or something, wear body paint etc - that was good.
