Dear god - watched this tonight and I must have sobbed 4 or 5 times. Can't remember the last time I cried so much watching a film! I feel drained!

YABU - it's a bloody kids film
YANBU - it is definitely a tear jerker!

The one with Robert Redford? If so, YANBU! It is definitely an emotional roller coster.

I remember the OLD one made me sob buckets as a kid. Still too traumatised to even contemplate watching the new one 🙈

Yes with RR, I never saw the original.

Oh it’s a glorious film. Not be a fan of most of the Disney live action remakes but this was wonderful.

YANBU!

I absolutely love this film tho. But cry like a baby at it.

I saw it in the cinema one morning with the kids. I'd no idea what it was about (didn't know there was an earlier film). The very start with Pete & his parents in the car ... I was crying inconsolably, my children nearly had to take me out.

It's beautiful.

Yes it’s a great film imho.

Zoecarter · 16/04/2021 21:05

Oh it’s awful but I loved the original

MaryBoBary · 16/04/2021 21:28

My 5yo took my glasses off and smeared my tears all over my face for me, then put my glasses back on and pushed his grubby fingers on the lenses for good measure Smile
