Is it too much to hope that the media can allow the Duke of Edinburgh a dignified farewell.
Respect for an elderly man who was a WWII war veteran and charity worker.
I realise this is probably too much - but could the commentators not make it into a Prince Charles/Diane/Camilla or Prince Andrew/Epstein/FBI or a Meghan could not travel/ pregnant/ did not want to be the centre of attention event.
For once, this is about the man, not the children and their issues past, present or future.
I am not a royalist and am unlikely to watch but just wish him a dignified farewell - not a point scoring event.
