We even had snow on Monday.

Last April was lovely, but this time around it feels like winter will never end.

It doesn't feel like it has been a particularly bad winter, not as bad as the "beast from the east" a few years ago. We've not had a prolonged warm spell that we sometimes get at the end of March or early April, but those warm spells are the abnormality. It's only May when you should be pretty much certain of being able to go out without a warm coat.

Ned Stark did warn us, but did we listen?

Yeah it's dragged. Still got the heating on. Wfh too expensive no saving on commute or lunches

I work outdoors all year round so I'm very aware the weather. I'm based in the Midlands and for us this winter hasn't been particularly bad, or long.

It was less cold, and less wet than usual.

I absolutely agree that April hasn't been as lovely as last year, but we've still had some lovely days and lots of sunshine.

It's about the same as it was a couple of years ago. I remember because we were freezing at a wedding in mid-April.

It hasn't been as bad weather wise but April is cold this year and the winter has felt long for obvious reasons.

Generally when there’s a cold spring there’s a hot summer (2013, 14 and 18) while a hot spring often means a washed out summer (12, 15 in particular.)

But it has felt like winter has lasted forever because of lockdown. I feel like I live in Narnia.
