Am I entitled to a refund?

Not really an AIBU,

Bought a second hand washer dryer to save a bit of cash and the company seemed good, however we've had so many problems with it.
OH brought it back today and now we need to wait for them to inspect it, on the receipt it says replace or repair. But we just want a refund so we can buy a new one. As we can't bothered having to deal with them.

I know they are going to offer to repair can we reject the repair and ask for a full refund? It was delivered on the 2nd of April.

Have a look at this MSE page: www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/consumer-rights-refunds-exchange/#:~:text=You've%20MORE%20rights%20buying,even%20if%20there's%20no%20fault.

By the looks of it, if it's faulty you could be entitled to a refund within 30 days of purchase. Alternatively you can change your mind within 14 days of purchase for a refund. Or if bought before 26th March you can return for refund before 30th April.

Basically, it depends on when you bought it as to what you might be entitled to do with regards to a refund even though it's second hand.
