It’s 11.28 the night before school

And my kids are playing fucking UNO. I thought they were in bed.

I give up, after Easter I am clearly no longer in charge of the damn madhouse, I have school and work at 6.30am.

I’m a terrible mum.

They’ll have a long day tomorrow and will be tired and in bed early as they’ll be getting up early. Win, win. At least they’re not fighting.

They are 9(next month) and 11. 6yo has been asleep for hours.

I’ve genuinely lost all authority, and hoping back to routine will fix it. But they are fucking Duracell bunnies, albeit quiet canny ones who made me think they were in their own beds until I came up to bed.

I’m going to sleep now, if they sneak out to play card games again on their own head be it tomorrow when they have to get up.

And yes I guess win win they’ll (possibly) be in bed early tomorrow. If it weren’t so ridiculous and late I’d be quite pleased with them playing so nicely together Grin

My class were back in yesterday and some were very sleepy! They will probably be shattered tonight and go to bed early.

Blimey, if my 9 and 11 year old were prepared to play an educational game together, without me even being aware, let alone in involved, I'd be bloody thrilled. You're a great mum!!
