Buying A Home Abroad to Live in Following Brexit

DH and I have always planned to retire to an EU country, such as Germany, Austria, The Netherlands or Sweden and to buy our own home there.

Does anyone know if this will still be possible in these countries and what sort of minimum income you need to be allowed to live there 12 months of the year?

Watching the answers with interest. Leaving this toxic country is more and more appealing by the week.
I know politics is toxic in many countries, but I have a theory I would feel less affected by it if it wasn't "my" country.

Each country will have its own rules and they will vary: now that the UK has left the EU, immigration and residence is dealt with at the national not EU level. So you will have to research each of the countries you are interested in, individually.
