Feeling ill!

In the grand scheme of things I think I’m just being a bit moany, but... My DH has been ill for the past couple of weeks, now I’ve caught it! When he was ill I did literally everything around the house etc, as well as WFH full time. If he wanted to sleep all day, I didn’t moan and let him get on with whatever made him feel better.
Now I’m ill I had kind of hoped the favour would be returned, but I’m still doing everything when all I want to do is curl up and sleep all day!
To top it off, he was loads better but now his blocked nose has come back, so all I hear now is how ill he is and how I’ve made him ill!! Along with the usual huffing and puffing that comes from the dreaded man flu!
I just wanted a rant really, and a light-ish hearted ask AIBU to want a bit of sympathy and a helping hand?!

Take some paracetamol and a Nytol, go to bed, sleep and ignore him.

Do your own thing, say you are really sick. Let him sort himself out, you need to put a very firm block on ‘the man sickness is worse than woman’s sickness’ bullshit.
If you’re fluey and don’t have tummy problems tell him to cook you something or bring you toast and tea.
Holy shit! Men just can’t have the limelight taken away from their own stuff when we are expected usually to get on with it!

Just tell him op, tell him you feel like crap like he did last week etc. Give him a list of jobs that need doing that day, just hand him it and say thanks love, you’re going to bed you feel dreadful and have a think about what he is going to make for tea!!!
Hope you feel better soon x
