So I think the inevitable menopause is definitely on the cards. I can cope with most of the symptoms, but it has really affected my performance at work. I have lost all concentration, probably lasting five minutes at most, and am suffering from terrible forgetfulness. A few snide comments have been made, but nothing formally yet. All my bosses are male, not approachable about this sort of thing and there is no HR department. Should I bring the subject up with them to explain why my performance has suffered? AIBU to use this as an excuse...?
