To eat the chocolatey hot cross buns?

I took them out of the freezer (been in there a month) Saturday night so that we could have them for a naughty easter breakfast. It didn't happen in the end and they're still laying there, taunting me, begging me to give in to my desires and scoff them.

Are they okay or will I wake up feeling like I've had my middle run over by a lorry?

I'm shocked they are still uneaten!

Go for it! It's the last bit of the Easter Holidays and it's your duty! They'll be absolutely fine- nothing risky in them. Enjoy

You can't refreeze them so not point in wasting them!

You're all right, I'm being ridiculous. Even if I do wake up with a stomach ache, it will have been worth it for chocolatey hot cross buns.

why do they keep messing around with Hot Cross bun flavours - I try them occasionally, but haven;t come across anything to rival a richly fruited hot cross bun.
Worst contenders so far: Apple/Salted Caramel/Chocolate orange are in the running, but nothing to contend with the abomination that was chilli and cheese.

They are vile! We bought some a few years ago. YABU to eat something so bleurgh. Normal Hot cross buns are 100% nicer!

The marmite and cheese ones from M&S were heavenly! I also ate the chocolate M&S ones - also amazing.

YABVU chocolate hot cross buns are horrible (despite what my children think). Original hot cross buns are the only good ones. But only if they don’t have horrible candied peel in them. I am fussy about hot cross buns.

I was disappointed to find they don't contain any dried fruit.

I had some amazing brioche chocolate chip HXBs from the Co op last week, they were delicious.

Am I reading this right, they now make Hot Cross Buns without raisins or currants or sultanas or whatever the fuck has been put in them since the dawn of time?

Bread will almost never cause food poisoning, not until it's covered in mould and you wouldn't eat it like that anyway.

They might go a bit stale and/or mouldy after a few days, but they won't harm you.

Op.......... Not liking raisins isnt a reason to eat Chocolate hot cross buns! Awful things.

Hot cross buns shouldnt be sullied by weird ingredients. Its the law!

I had some amazing brioche chocolate chip HXBs from the Co op last week, they were delicious.

I went back to the co-op after opening a pack of these because they were SO good and I wanted to stock up the freezer (🐷 🤣) and they were sold out 😢 Roll on next Easter 😅🤣
