Socialising again after lockdown ( lighthearted...ish).

Don't get me wrong...i know how many of you will thrive on seeing close family after lockdown but im already finding the social demands quite taxing.
People are actually now inviting me round...lovely but then times have to be negotiated etc. My friends dd wants to see my dd but my dd dosn't like her so dosnt want to meet up so now friend will be hurt for her dd!
At least i have the excuse that im doing my research dissertation so am too busy to socialise. I enjoyed having that cup of tea in the garden with my dad but after a certain time got echausted and came home as per before lockdown.

I am so happy that lockdown is easing and people can mix and in this sun but i am just not used to negotiating all this socialising and family politics.

Ok, i am a miserable old git.

I suspect you might get a flaming but I kinda feel the same TBH, I won't be going back to needing to spend every minute of my spare time making plans or meeting up with others. But I have an excuse as I'm heavily pregnant Grin

If it's any consolation, it'll probably die down after the initial novelty! That's what happened last time, at least for me.
