Sorry, posting for traffic.

I can't find this anywhere and I've tried all chemists, supermarkets, home bargains etc in my area. It's been a few weeks now and I really need some.

Does anybody know if it's been recalled or if it's just a supply issue? I can't find anything out online.

Is anyone living in a part of the country where you know it to be in stock in abundance? I'm in West Yorkshire. Thank you.

I work for Sainsbury's and just checked the stock app we use, and there are 0 units in stock in Bradford, Keighley and Halifax. I don't know if they are local to you, but I am thinking there must be a supply issue!

Thank you for doing that, that's very kind.

You can buy it in tablet form on Amazon. Phillips laxative caplets. I find they do almost as good a job as the liquid.

I think it was prohibited by EU regulations, hopefully will be back soon. It's the only thing that works for me.

Pepto bismol is still being sold. I'd wondered where it went. I bought Andrew's liver salts instead but they're not the same.

Very hard to get Milk of Magnesia for the last few weeks here in Glasgow too. Can't take Gaviscon etc, too thick and I can't stand the taste! Rennies and Remegel are both helpful but nothing does the job like Milk of Magnesia does, the only place I've seen it is in one independent chemist near us.

🤮 milk of magnesia!!!

Pepto Bismarck, not too bad though

Confusedmeanderings · 03/04/2021 02:36

I hadn't noticed about milk of magnesia but I find Remegel really difficult to find. I hate the taste of other brands, they're too chalky!
