Could anyone recommend a Fitbit / Apple type fitness watch?

Hoping for traffic!

I'm looking for a fitness tracker watch to count my steps and calories burned through the day. It doesn't need to do anything much fancier but I can't afford the big brands.
I've heard before that some Amazon ones are good but I'm not sure where to start with all the options and features.

Does anyone have one they would recommend for being accurate and relatively cheap?
I would be really grateful for any links or recommendations.

My only experience is the Fitbit Charge 2. It's great and has lasted ages. I really like the app too and use it daily. The current version (charge 4) is £100 though, so I don't think that's what you are looking for.

On the other hand, there is a step counter that is integral to the Fitbit app. I used that alone (so for free and without any sort of Fitibit device) for around 2 years before I was bought the Charge 2 as a birthday present. If you tend to have your phone in your pocket all the time, you may find this is enough for you. Depends on whether all your clothes have pockets!
