To say the Easter bunny has left his gift early?

I understand not everyone bothers with the Easter bunny. My dd was told about it at school one day and I never had the heart to deny it.

Anyway, I've made up a little Easter basket that was intended to be from me and dp. The reason it was from us is because I've handmade most of the bits in there.
Dp has announced in front of the dc today that the Easter bunny will bring them an Easter basket.

Shall I tell them he dropped it off early and I added some (handmade) bits, or just let them think the Easter bunny left it all for them?

They know my hobby is making these certain things that are in the basket so they will probably realise the whole thing was from me and dp.

I know I'm massively overthinking this 😂

You could just say you sent some things you made for the bunny to deliver if that makes things easier!

Yes, that was what I was thinking of doing. I didn't know if that seemed a bit strange and they may wonder why I added so much extra stuff.
