Presentation for interview

I have an online teams interview next week. I need to show a presentation for 10-15 minutes. Following a practice run with my husband, the camera automatically turns off when I click on the presentation to start.
Do you think I need to be seen on the screen while I’m delivering my presentation?
I obviously feel less conscious not being shown but understand if I need to do this.
Once the presentation ends, I am automatically shown again on the screen.

Have you tried viewing it from another device?
When I present on Teams I see the presentation, but not myself. My students see the presentation with a thumbnail of me in the bottom corner.

It's fine. You can't have the camera and presentation at the same time. You would just deliver the presentation then be back on screen for the interview.

Teams doesn't allow face and slides at the same time . If you have slides then you need to talk through them and then turn off slides to have your face shown.

Everyone else will be in the same situation. Its a limitation of teams

Or there could just be the small thumbnail of you at the bottom.

Yes, I’ve tried a Mac book but the presentation does not seem to load. It works on my desktop and iPad.
I can ask IT at work for help as there is a way of turning the camera on, but just wondering if I need to do this.
Would it come across better to see me delivering the presentation?

You definitely can be on camera while showing slides on Teams. I do it at work all the time. Maybe there's a setting within Teams to check.

I would definitely expect you to be visible during a presentation like this. After all, the point of asking people to do a presentation for interview, is not just about what they say, but how they come across when they do it. They want to know how you'll appear to clients etc.

It depends on teams versions. The normal version of teams, used by all the public sector for example doesn't allow it.
