Did anyone watching it? Was waiting to see if a thread.
In a nutshell, the testing labs haven't followed the strict measures during testing and thousands of people could have tested positive due to contamination.
Aibu to think what an absolute shambles??

It was upsetting. I just could not believe how slap dash it all was

It doesn't surprise me. I have heard of two people who sent off a test that never went near a mouth or a nostril and got a positive result. I thought it was crap, but seeing this makes it a possibility that it isn't.

It's pretty shit that our lives are being massively affected and a lot of the positive results might not be reliable. I suppose a person doing this alone might not see the impact, but collectively there will be.

Why on earth would someone go to the trouble of doing a test and then it not go anywhere near the mouth and nose. Dare I ask where it did go?

I knew about these issues. A friend booked a test slot and then didn't actually go for the test at all. She had a text message a few days later with a positive result. It's a joke.

I think one case was similar to the above and they didn't go and got a postal test instead. The other guy took it out of the packet and put it back in to test the test I suppose. Obviously I wasn't there, so was doubtful about it, but watching this made me think there is actually a possibility of it being true.

I just feel sad about all the public money thrown at this. These findings are just from one journalist going in UC.

Anyway, I said I would not post on COVID topics anymore, so I will say no more.
