PayPal? Money not showing in balance

I've had a refund from H&M on 21/03 and a family member send £500 today.

Yet neither are showing as PayPal balance or in the bank. Yet I can see them in the activity on PayPal.

Why is it not sitting as a balance for me to then transfer to my bank?

Perhaps its still pending?

I thought this but then doesn't it usually say it's pending. I also read about it taking 3-5 days but then the H&M refund should have landed if that's the case as was from the 21st

Have you checked it hasn’t already transferred to your bank account?

If it’s pending coming in though I don’t think you normally see it in the transactions. It wouldn’t be in your balance for sure.

Ah ok, used the website and the £500 was in the balance...so my app is upto date but must be a bit dodgy
