My DD is on the autism spectrum, and she goes to a mainstream school . There’s fairly good support there for her and she has been okay, (up until before the lockdowns ) , but she doesn’t really have any friends,
She had one friend , a boy who she’d hang out with a bit , but he’s not been back to school since lockdown.
it really upsets and worries me and consumes me a lot of the time , but i don’t know what i can do to help this situation.,,,?
she has always struggled with friendships , all through school. but i feel that she’s given up trying now
she is generally happy at home , and likes watching Greys Anatomy (her current favourite) playing with the dog , baking and being with her brothers .
I don’t know what i can do to help her have mates and develop a friendship ,,?
