Pillow case attack

I've just watched the horrific cctv clip of the man attacking that lady and trying to put the pillow case over her head.
In the background ..... Is that a shopping trolley? Did he come so prepared he had tools in it? What is the shopping trolley all about?

I think he's been apprehended. Also, there is another thread about this somewhere on here, I posted on it yesterday.
