Not liking certain Facebook photos

Generally I love seeing photos of my friends or colleagues kids that I have on my FB. Mostly they are sweet posts about their birthdays, pics or something great they have done. But I have one friend and she has a baby about 6 months younger than one of my DC. She is extremely OTT and very attention seeking. Very competitive too and replies to every single comment people make. I do like her posts if there isn't something I disagree with. I would never tell someone how to parent, I'm not an expert, but if she posts something I can't condone I won't like it . For example posts on how she uses cry it out and that is why her baby sleeps 12 hours. I won't like this type of post because I think it's wrong- the CIO not the 12 hours sleep, that sounds lovely. I don't comment. She sent me a message the other day asking why I don't always like her posts. WTF who even monitors this. I just replied along the lines of "Bit busy so probably haven't seen your multiple posts a day on Facebook. Hope you are well? "

Do you monitor your friends likes ?

No I don’t but maybe you should tell her you don’t like it because you don’t agree

I like the posts I like. Never occurs to me to like a post just because a friend posted it. I doubt she keeps tabs on it op so I wouldn’t worry.

She sounds desperately lonely if she has time to monitor and respond to every message. She doesn't sound ok.

This is why social media sucks. People get so caught up in likes. But also I’ve been there where people haven’t like my photos but they have of others . It can be hurtful. I think we should just get rid of it all together 😂

She sounds a bit intense. I don't post on FB but do on Instagram and most definitely do not check who has and hasn't liked something. How bizarre
