What do you mean by “records” I understand they report back to the GP?

sjfjsnfkdhsbd · 22/03/2021 21:23

Yes.

User566677 · 22/03/2021 21:29

Yes it certainly should be - only difference might be in terms of digital recording systems. In my trust Camhs were on a different system till a few years ago ( also not all gps use the same systems)

DinoHat · 22/03/2021 21:31

Perhaps they didn’t record it as they no doubt should have? It’s not instantaneous, there’s room for human error.

treesandrocks · 22/03/2021 21:32

Possibly. It would be on your CAMHS medical records. They might mention it when your child gets discharged from CAMHS in the discharge report that gets sent to your GP. They might not.

User566677 · 22/03/2021 21:35

It was to the receptionist as I couldn’t get through to any of his workers.

It should be but if it's like most CAMHS around the country they've probably messed up.

imalmostthere · 22/03/2021 21:47

If it only went through to reception and you never spoke to anyone, then no

Thirtyrock39 · 22/03/2021 21:53

Admin should still record it especially if in a crisis situation and this info was given. They would obviously need to have been told of this to be able to record it.

Emeraldshamrock · 22/03/2021 22:37

They should but they don't update the file for a chat if it is with reception. The receptionist is qualified to help with general medical inquiries afaik.
Is your DC currently under their care.

User566677 · 23/03/2021 11:46
