AMEX Credit Card Cashback?

Hi, posting in here for traffic.

If anybody uses the AMEX platinum cashback card, at a spend of 3k to get your cashback paid out as the AMEX advisor told me, if you did not hit that limit was your cashback kept for the next year? This wasn't explained when I got the card last year but I'm curious about your experiences. I was looking forward to my £50 cashback towards savings lol.

By the way- this all came about as my cashback was suddenly wiped from my account & I called the call centre
